The Elgato Game capture is one of the cheaper capture cards you can buy, so it is worth looking at if you don’t want to spend a lot of money, but you want to start recording games. I would only record once in a while, so I didn’t use it a lot that I could wear it out, but it ended up breaking anyway. What’s even more frustrating is that I didn’t even use it that often. If the physical product had been constructed better and the mini USB connector hadn’t wobbled and become loose until it couldn’t connect to the PC anymore, I would give this a full recommendation. I would still be using it if the connector hadn’t broken, but other than the flimsy connector for the mini-USB cord, the Elegato Game Capture HD worked very well.
